Open Your Heart

I'm sorry to say that I can't find the vid at AMV.org - not sure if you had checked there, so I thought I'd give it a go. There are 45 amvs listed for the Eureka Seven anime, but none that match what you are looking for. I did find a member entry for Kakuo (none for Kakuo7) but there is only one vid listed, called simply "A". However, Kakuo has only been a member since Aug 6, so perhaps he/she/they are only beginning to put up their vids on AMV.org. I would definitely keep checking back.

However, I can perhaps help with downloading a vid from YouTube. The subject recently came up on the Vidder mailing list, and this is what I was told about. I've not yet tried to use either option, but I have heard from folks who have successfully used both. Keep in mind that the visual quality of vids captured off YouTube will - at best - be only as good as that you see when you stream them.

Video Downloader - Javimoya
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

Quoting from the person who recommended it:
"It's as simple as copying the url into a box and it currently allows you to download most youtube videos. Just save the files as .flv and you should be able to watch them as per normal using either the vlc player or a dedicated flv player. The quality should remain the same as if it is being streamed."

Another downloading choice is Keepvid
http://keepvid.com

Quoting from the person who recommended it:
It's really easy, all you have to do is find the vid you want on YouTube and on the right hand side it always has the url. Copy this into the bar at the top of the keepvid webpage after choosing which site you want to download from ie YouTube and then click on go. It will find the downloadable link and show it further down the page (it takes a few seconds to appear)and then you can download by using the normal 'Save Target As' function. You must give the file a flv extension when you save it. The instructions are on the webpage anyway. You can download the flv
player instead of converting but the screen is quite small and I
couldn't get it to enlarge at all. There's a link on the keepvid
website for it.

Then download a free program called Super(C) from
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

this program enables you to convert the flv file to another more user
friendly format."

Hope that helps! At least it would allow you to capture a YouTube copy until you can track down a better version.
