Hey, I don't know if anybody will be able to help with this, but it's worth a shot.

I'm looking for a Han Solo/Luke Skywalker vid. It's basically about Luke having a crush on Han. The music was "I Need a Hero" -- the Frou Frou cover. I don't remember who the vidder was. I watched it like... a few years ago. I don't think I watched it on youtube. I have tried searching through the old SW vid lj comms, and goggling all sorts of combinations of terms, but nothing has come up. I really wish I could find it -- it was awesome. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Maybe?

I'm pretty sure I know the one you mean - it's by azonia, who used to do a lot of Stargate vids.

Her site doesn't seem to be there any more though, so I'm not sure whether it's still available. Googling a bit, she has an LJ but it's friends-locked, so I don't know whether she's still active or not.

SW Vid - I Need a Hero

Adding a bit to the previous comment. Azonia's old site is gone (AzoniaMMM Productions - multiple fandoms inc. SW & SG1 - http://www.azonia.net). The last time I downloaded a vid from there was mid-late 2008, so no idea when it disappeared. I don't know if her vids were ever online anywhere else. The SW vid you're looking for I downloaded in early 2005 about the time it wss made.

Azonia's LJ (http://azonia.livejournal.com/) was last updated 2008-05-19. Though mostly friends only, her vid posts were public and are still available. The vid links are broken, as they go to her old site.

You might try private messaging her through LJ and see if you get a response. Since her LJ hasn't been updated in several years, it's a long shot but you never know. Her email contact at Kawoosh is azonia at ntlworld dot com; that might be old as they still list her old website. Azonia also shared her site with Miss3M, you might try tracking her down. (An old email was Miss3M at aol dot com - no idea if it's current or not.)

P.S. OK, I decided to do a bit more digging and check out the Wayback Machine. It has a lot of captures for Azonia's site but most seem to be after it was closed/moved. I did finally find a capture of the page with SW vid info, but unfortunately the Wayback Machine didn't capture the actual vids (sometimes you get lucky and it does).
