I posted this in the BTVS vid community but nobody answered and then I stumbled across this place. I'm looking for the first fanvid I ever saw and immediately fell in love with.

Fandom: Buffy

Sorry I don't know the vidder. What I remember is that it was a gen vid for the whole series. I first saw it maybe about 3 years ago. I know at one point in the middle or near the end there's a really great part in the vid where it just starts flashing moments (kind of like the beginning of the episode The Gift) I know about a million vids have been done to that song so it might be hard to find. Thanks! :)

The vid description doesn't ring a bell, but I checked an old copy of the Buffy database that I'd saved (7/06) and turned up only one listing for a Buffy vid set to Run by Snow Patrol. (Couldn't check the Buffy database right now, as the search feature isn't working - note says 5/16/07.) I've not seen the vid, so no idea if it's even close to your description, but it might be worth checking out since the archive date is 2004 which means you could have seen it three years ago. So I'm not actually sure if that's it. Because I remember it being just Buffy (no AtS) but that one does have the series of moments flashing thing in it. I'm confused. But thank you for looking!

Ah well, that was my best shot, so if that's not it, I got nothing. Maybe she revised the vid or perhaps there's another vid out there that fits your recollection better. Either that, or your memory's playing tricks. *g* Good luck with your continued hunt.
