Two vids

i'm looking for two vids that I used to have but accidently deleted from my computer.

1. A Fight Club vid
Song used was: My Own Worst Enemy by Lit

2. A Sleepy Hollow vid
Song: So Cold by Breaking Benjamin

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful thanks!

I have the Sleepy Hollow vid, but it's creditless (well, the credits only list the song and artist), so that's really not much help. With luck, the creator or someone who knows who she is will check in here; if no one else can ID it for you, though, let me know and I'll send it to you - at least then you'll have it.

(And if you do find that Fight Club vid, I'd love to hear about it.)

2. A Sleepy Hollow vid

When I saw a Sleepy Hollow vid listed, my first thought was that it was likely to be from yuna_firerose. Not that other's haven't vidded Sleepy Hollow but I think her's was the first I saw listed anywhere.

I checked my files but didn't find it. I did check the memories for the LJ community vidding and found the announcement. (HINT: When vid hunting, always, always check that site first.) As I thought, yuna_firerose had done a Sleepy Hollow vid to the song "So Cold". She nearly always uses temporary host sites, and the link for the vid has long expired. She has, however, been fairly responsive to requests to reupload vids in the past.

I'd suggest leaving a comment on the announcement here:

I wouldn't solely rely on LJ notification to get the comment to her, though, so I'd also suggest you email her about it. An email address can be found on her LJ profile.

Thanks so much for the effort you put in!

But I forgot to say (sorry) that I did contact yuna_firerose a while ago and downloaded that vid from her, but it isn't the one I'm actually looking for.

I've checked all the vidding communities memories that I can think of that might have that vid but...I dunno..I'm drawing blanks everywhere.

The only thing I remember about the vid creator is that their name is Lissa H.

Hmmm, I'm surprised that there are two Sleepy Hollow vids to that same song, as there are relatively few Sleepy Hollow vids to begin with. I knew I'd not seen two listed using the same song in places that I usually track for vids, which meant that it was likely a YouTube posting as that's not a site I frequent, for a variety of reasons.

Checked YouTube and found the vid I think you mean. The YouTube account name is Antiquitalissa. I let the first few seconds load and the name on the opening credits is Lissa H. Here's the link:

If you previously had a copy on your computer, then you already know how to capture streaming vids. Keepvid.com will let you capture a flv format and Vixy.net will let you capture avi format.

That is the vid I'm looking for, though I should have thought to look on YouTube - it just never occurred to me!

Are you still looking for the Fight Club vid? There is a Fight Club vid to "My Own Worst Enemy" on this site (http://vids.burnmik.net/) although I am not sure if it's the version you want.
