Hi, I'm looking for a James Bond- Goldeneye vid to the song "This is War" by Smile Empty Soul. I was fangirling the video to a friend and went to search my hard drive for it so I could find who made it- and I can't find it anywhere. I don't think I've had it on this computer at all so it's at least been a year since I've seen it (It obviously made an impression).

The very end of it switches to dialog "For England, James?" "No, for me."

Is this ringing any bells for anyone?

Thank you!

I did a Google search that lead me here (http://www.bascon.org/cons/vids04.htm), followed that to an LJ community for BAScon (http://community.livejournal.com/bascon), and searched through the old entries 'til I ended up here (http://morgandawn.livejournal.com/148969.html). Assuming it's the same vid, it was made by [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll; her vidding journal is [livejournal.com profile] lithiumchic.

I hope that helps!

[livejournal.com profile] shamethebells beat me to it *g* but I can confirm that the vid you're looking for was indeed made by Lithium Doll AKA [livejournal.com profile] halcyon_shift on LJ. The vid came out in 2004, IIRC, is set to "This is War" and does end with the dialogue snippett.

You can find Lithium Doll's vids here:
http://www.alter-idem.com/index.php?set=videos

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like she has the Goldeneye vid online at the moment. However, she's usually very willing to temporarily re-upload a vid if requested. Here's what she says (from "Where did [vid] go?"):

"it's a Professionals video, it's over at The Circuit Archive.
If it's a Farscape video, it's probably over at Farscape Fantasy.

If it's neither of these things, I probably quietly deleted it / lost it in The Great Crash. I'm able to reupload vids (well, any I still have *g*) so if you want a particular one that's not listed anymore, just give me a yell."

Contact info is on her site and her LJ profile.

You're welcome. Lithium Doll's an excellent vidder, and I actually enjoyed the vid more than the movie. Hope you soon have a copy again.
